LJM Research Laboratory
LJM Research Laboratory is an independent research initiative exploring the future of artificial intelligence โ to explore new technology, publish honest findings, advance real-world applications in medicine, education, and beyond and build software that puts ideas into practice.
Started by a Techie who believes that good research doesn't have to come from a university, just from someone willing to dig in, test things honestly, and share what they find.
What the Lab Does
The work spans research, writing, and software, all connected by a genuine curiosity about where Technology and Artifical Intelligence is headed and how it actually works in practice.
Emerging Technology
Exploring new tools, frameworks, and ideas at the leading edge of computer science, and writing up what actually works.
Machine Learning & AI
Hands-on research into machine learning methods, with an eye toward practical application and honest assessment of limitations.
Software Development
Building tools and products that put research ideas into practice, designed to be useful to real people, not just working in demos.
Tech Education
Sharing what I learn in ways that are accessible, clear, and useful, informed by years of computer science education and teaching methods.

LJM Research Laboratory
A solo research practice run by a NJ Educator with a passion for exploring, building, and publishing work on new technology.
LJM Research Laboratory was created by a NJ Educator with a B.S. in Computer Science who wanted a dedicated space to research, experiment with, and publish findings on new and emerging technologies, outside of the traditional academic track.
By day, I am a teacher dedicated to educating students and helping them understand how the world works. The lab is the natural extension of that curiosity, a place to go deeper, ask harder questions, and share what I find with anyone who is interested.
The goal is straightforward: stay close to the leading edge of technology, do honest independent research, build software that solves real problems, and publish everything in a way that is accessible and useful for everyone, not locked behind paywalls or institutional gatekeeping.
I educate, bringing real-world context and current technology into the classroom. Teaching keeps me honest, if I can't explain something clearly, I probably don't understand it well enough yet.
The lab is where I go deep on topics that interest me, testing new tools, writing up findings, and building small software products that put ideas into practice.
๐ Areas of Interest
Alongside research, I build software tools that put ideas into practice. Products are designed to be useful to real people, not just proofs of concept, with a focus on simplicity, clarity, and honest documentation of what the tool can and cannot do.
